I have added a couple of different forums, which you can use to exchange your experiences, discuss your problems with fellow programmers, anounce new products, promote your site etc. I have created 5 different forums - one for each major topic of the NATUREWIZARD site - so that you can find what you are looking for more easily:
Naturewizard: Use this forum for comments on the site or for general stuff (i.e. everything that doesn't fit in one of the other cathegories).
Simulation of Water: ocean waves, rivers, water surfaces, fountains, waterfalls,...
Terrain Generation: terrain generation, level of detail algorithms, erosion, texturing,...
Simulation of Plants: L-Systems, iterated function systems (IFS), plant growth, interaction with environment (animals, wind, sun, rain,...),...
Artificial Life: animal behaviour, boids (bird simulation),...
You can use the forums as guest or as member. To become a member, you have to register. During the registration you can also decide, whether you would like to register for the newsletter as well (you can change this later on in your personal settings). I will use the newsletter to inform you about the new material added to the site. On average, you will get one e-mail per month, if you subscribe to this newsletter.
There is also a very important point regarding the content of the postings: you are not allowed to post anything not related to the topic of the forum (i.e. adult content or stuff that discriminates somebody or is in conflict with current laws). Technically there is the possibility to add attachments to your postings, but please don't use this possibility if it is not really unavoidable (if you want to publish any programs, send them to me and if they are of general interest, I will put them in the download section). I also can't check the attachments, so if you download software from a forum, expect the worst - it might be a virus, trojan or something else that might ruin your system.
